Some of the most unexpected sounds come from our pets, and they’re even sweeter when they’re unexpected. One little meow can cure all the sadness in the world—especially if it’s the kind of vocalization that doesn’t seem like it should come from a cat.
This all describes Ash, a precious Tabby cat with an even more precious meow that’s more of a squeaky toy than anything else.

In case you needed a boost today, @lookitstelly has you covered. For a 9-second video, the Tabby cat manages to convey all the good feelings anyone could need! Make sure your volume is up for the daintiest, “meowiest” sound you’ll hear today.
As captioned, “Thank you, Ash!” the adorable kitty is a busy girl working a double shift at the bakery where the softest, freshest biscuits are made! It’s one of those videos that had people instantly obsessed with the meow, probably from the serotonin boost, and thousands left their thoughts in the comments.
“This squeak healed us,” the official account for @natgeo wrote. “A squeak AND a biscuit???” another added. “The second inaudible squeak, too!” another praised, to which Mom replied, “It’s the one that makes the magic work!”

As if one video of Ash’s biscuit squeak wasn’t enough, have no fear! There are plenty of other cute clips showcasing how the kitty uses her whole face to make the sound happen. I think we should all say thank you to Ash for more sunshine!
‘Tabby’ Isn’t a Breed, but a Coat Pattern
It’s commonplace to hear of Tabby cats, but did you know it’s actually just the pattern of their coat? You know it when you see it: swirls, stripes, and spots that are usually marked with an “M” on the forehead. The trait is genetic and meant to act as camouflage in the wild!
These felines are wicked smart, confident, and playful companions who fit in nearly all families and scenarios. If you’re lucky, you may even find one with a voice like Ash’s. Actually, that’s not possible—she’s one of a kind!
