Siamese Cat Gently Cleans Baby Deer & the Two Become Best Friends

The unlikeliest of friends have the internet talking. Though they might be very different in size, that didn’t stop a Siamese cat and deer from becoming pals! Maybe it’s because the cat was so helpful to the baby deer. She was cleaning the little one! But what’s so clear is the fact that these two are now besties and the internet can’t get enough.

And so it begins! Thank goodness these two found each other or else we wouldn’t have seen this incredible moment.

Have you ever seen a deer and cat pairing before? They’re so different! Deer are so big and cats are so small in comparison. But no matter. These two were determined to be friends no matter what.

Not only was the Siamese cat so gentle with the deer (and the deer was gentle in return), but she decided to give the deer a bath. How cute! The clip shows the cat giving the deer some tender licks at its ears.

This really is so precious. Even the cat’s human could tell the duo were “two peas in a pod.”

This is like the start of a movie. Even people in the comments section thought the clip was picture perfect.

“Not the fox and the hound, but the cat and the deer,” joked one person.

“OMG I would cry and then invite the deer inside,” someone else gushed.

“He went back for more,” a third commenter added.

“The way that deer LOVES kitty grooming. This is so sweet!” one person exclaimed.

Are Deers Social Animals?

Cats sort of have the reputation for being aloof, but what about deer? Deer are actually pretty social creatures too. It might not seem that way, but they are! Deers travel in groups called herds that are sometimes divided by sex. Male deers travel together and female deers travel together.

There is a major caveat to all this friendliness, however. Just because deer are friendly to each other, that doesn’t mean you should attempt to take one home as a pet. Deer are wild animals and are best left in the great outdoors. They’re best appreciated from afar!
