Golden Retriever Wags Her Tail With Pure Joy Whenever Mom Says ‘I Love You’


Pet parents know that their little fur babies become part of the family, and they can love their pet kids just as much as any human relative. Like with all family members, it’s important to tell them how much they’re cared for and often.

One pet mom is making sure her Golden Retriever knows how much she means to her. @laurenewareham posted her feelings on TikTok in a video of her telling her Golden, “I love you.” Even she can’t get enough of her dog’s reaction to hearing it. In the video’s on-screen text, she gushes, “[I’m] obsessing over this video because my dog wags her tail every time I say, ‘I love you.'”

Look at that tail move back and forth! Their human mama made sure to repeat, “I love you,” over and over again. While this Golden Retriever was relaxed on the bed, her tail was pretty active hearing those affectionate words. In the post caption, @laurenewareham asked, “Is it just me, or is she also smiling?” This dogie is definitely content!

They also went on to describe this Golden as, “my soul dog forever and ever.” Clearly, there’s a lot of love between them.

There were plenty of viewers who felt the love in this moment, and they made their feelings know in the comments. @masterchief_keef wrote, “This might be the cutest dog of all time,” and others had similar reactions. @lilmilxo added, [“She’s] such a sweet baby.”

Some got emotional and wanted to share in the joy. @ninaeli excitedly declared, “OMG. Tell her, ‘I love her, too!'” To that sweet comment, @laurenewareham replied, “She’s feeling the love.”

What A Dog’s Tail Wag Can Mean

When dogs wag their tails, those movements can mean a number of different things depending on the situation and the way their tails move. According to Purina, there are many versions of tail wags that have specific meanings. If a dog’s tail is swishing between their legs, that could be a sign of anxiety or stress, and you may want to give them some space. A slow wag could show that a dog is uncertain in a situation like if they’re meeting someone new. An enthusiastic wag with the tail going up is often an sign a dog is happy like with the Golden in the video. With how their human mom makes sure this dog hears she loves her, she has every reason to stay happy!
