Mother Nature is amazing, and we are all so lucky to be surrounded by it every day. The circle of life keeps going, whether it’s fresh leaves on a tree or new baby animals; everything is just so precious.
Thanks to a recent TikTok video shared by @alaskanadventuresandmore, we were treated to an up-close and personal view of a baby moose that had lost its mother. The sweet calf spent days calling for her to come back and find them.
In the caption, the photographer noted, “A cow moose gave birth to triplets—something incredibly rare. This little one was the smallest and most fragile of the three.” They further explained that something spooked the mother moose, and she ran off with just two of her three calves in tow.
The little moose calf made the squeakiest cries for their mama, sounding like a cross between a human baby and a tiny kitten. According to the post, the precious baby spent three full days calling out to its mom and siblings in the hope that they would return to gather them back into their family unit.

Luckily, the updated information in the video notes states, “Then on day four, early in the morning, she came back. No hesitation. No delay. She gathered all three babies and disappeared into the wild.”
Isn’t it amazing that instinct told that little moose to keep crying, and a similar instinct told its mama to return for it even after several days? One of nature’s miracles indeed.
