Ragdoll Kitten Hops Like He’s a Piece of Popcorn

In an adorable TikTok clip, Willow, the Ragdoll, is having the time of his life bouncing up and down in his pet parents’ bed, trying to figure out how the covers keep moving up and down!

(Spoiler alert: Willow, it’s Mom’s hands and feet below the comforter.)

This is just the cutest video! He’s reminding me of popcorn popping in a skillet!

“You can’t tell me a Ragdoll isn’t the best breed ever,” Willow’s pet parents share in the clip. “Crazy rabbit.”

“I have a 9-month-old, and for Christmas, he got a 2-month-old,” said a viewer. “They are the best!!!”

“My cat is half Ragdoll, half Maine Coon, but he’s definitely part bunny as well,” commented another fan.

Aside from rabbits, some likened Willow to others in the animal kingdom.

“Like little snow foxes.”

Yes, I totally agree!

Regardless of what animals this Ragdoll reminds you of, Willow is like most kittens and has boundless energy!

Why Are Kittens So Energetic?

It’s perfectly normal for kittens to be sort of frantic! They are naturally energetic and playful, with tons of energy to burn. They love to play, run around, and explore their environment, which can make them seem hyperactive.

Kittens play because it’s actually a natural part of their development, helping them to learn important skills like hunting, stalking, and pouncing. More violent play, such as chasing, biting, and scratching, is also a normal part of this process!

Also, kittens are still developing their coordination and motor skills, which can make them appear clumsy and uncoordinated. This can contribute to their energetic behavior as they may be more prone to running, jumping, and climbing to compensate for their lack of coordination.

With all this in mind, I hope Willow never grows up because this kitten is just the cutest!
