It doesn’t take an equestrian expert to see that horses have one-of-a-kind personalities, complete with likes, dislikes, and quirks that could keep anyone entertained. Many horses are gentle and sweet to everyone they meet, but there are plenty of others, like Indie, who have a naughty side too.
Indie’s mom, Aimee MckMaymi, knows that Indie can be a ‘spicy horse,’ which is why she took things slow when she brought home her newborn daughter, Billie. Now that her baby is a bit older, however, she’s beginning to see just what a gentle soul Indie truly is. She transforms from a ‘spicy horse’ into a ‘nanny horse’ as soon as she sees her baby!
Billie and Indie already have the sweetest bond! Indie was there instantly to greet her baby, and she immediately lowered her head to let the little girl pet her. That already had me teary-eyed, but watching the baby reach out for her horse friend left me ready to reach for the tissues!

“It was very nice of you to have a baby for your horse,” @bookwormglowworm commented. As far as Indie is concerned, Billie was born to be her best friend! At this rate, she’ll grow up into the most horse-obsessed little girl, and it’s all thanks to one naughty horse.
Reading the heartwarming comments about this adorable duo was all fun and games until @nunya.nosypants wrote, “I fear it means your baby is spicy herself. Kindred spirits.” If that’s true, @aimeemckmaymi is going to have her hands full… but at least she’ll never be bored!
Horses and Babies
Many horses are friendly and loving animals, but the way some of them connect with babies and children is truly magical. It’s like they know when they need to be gentle! Even mama’s boy geldings and ‘spicy’ horses know when to reel it in, which is why sweet interactions like this can be so moving.
“We have a spicy dragon at our farm,” shared @barnbabylife. “He is level 10 pepper, but he loves babies, all babies. No people who are grown, only babies. He will try to attack if you don’t bring a baby to him, and he knows you have one.”
What a card! That horse has a lot in common with Indie, who can’t get enough of her mama’s new baby. Little does she know that their adventures together are only beginning!
