Every once in a while, pet parents find a product that solves a unique problem, and thanks to social media, they share the info with others. Maple is an 8-month-old Cocker Spaniel, and because of her signature long ears, her mom needed a way to keep them dry and out of the food and water bowls. That’s when she discovered the snood. Essentially, the product is a fancy doggie hairnet. It has a tubular design with elastic around both openings, ensuring a good fit for any pup.
In an Instagram video posted by @oreoloveslola, sweet Maple has just finished eating her dinner. The caption reads, “My puppy wears a snood so her ears don’t get wet while she eats.” She goes on to say, “This is her telling me she’s all done,” referring to the little Cocker Spaniel making eye contact with her once she has finished her dinner.
For many paw parents of pups with long ears, this is an ingenious product. It does a great job of keeping the ears contained and away from the dog’s food, and of course, they look adorable wearing them.

Where Did They Get the Doggie Snood?
Maple’s mom comments, “Her snood is from @thepawsco, but it hasn’t been launched yet !”❤️and the company also shared some information, saying, “Wow, everyone wants new snoods! We are working on a few final tweaks to make them perfect!”
One commenter laughed, writing, “The eye squish is killing me! 😂 This is genius!” 👏 She was, of course, referring to the puppy’s adorable little squished face in the video. As the pup glances over at her mom, the snood slips slightly over one eye—a cute moment that’s impossible not to giggle at.
Then a fellow Cocker Spaniel mom said, “Oh my gosh, this is a great idea! I wish I had known this with our three Cocker Spaniels over the years. Those beautiful ears get into everything!”
