If a dog could run for office, they’d surely create a few laws that would involve more treats, mandatory “walkies,” and require every house to have a solid selection of sticks for their choosing. What a world that would be!

In case a dog is ever allowed to be the next president, Gary, the Pomeranian, is the man for the job! Recently, this little guy had the best day following two of the three laws proposed above, and he enjoyed them with his dog bestie for the cutest little date!

There’s nothing better than watching Gary and his Golden Retriever bud happily skipping along the sidewalk with their sticks. I’m telling you—this is 6 seconds of dog joy right here!

The too-cute-to-be-real duo doesn’t need much to have a good day. They’ve got their sticks, their humans, and each other, and they couldn’t be more thrilled about it. Despite their apparent difference in size, these companions prove opposites attract and even accentuate each other’s best attributes!

His bio says he’s “50% cute and 50% insane,” but I think he’s perfect, strutting along with his comrade. Maybe it’s the “small dog, big personality” thing, but he doesn’t seem to notice or care that his dog friend is a lot bigger than him.

Gary’s Most Viral Video Shows How Smart He Is

Now that we’ve all had a little serotonin boost, let’s revisit what catapulted little Gary to internet fame. Obviously, he’s a charming, handsome fellow, but his intelligence is off the charts. Picking the right stick is one skill he’s mastered, but there’s a lot more to him than that.

In his most viral video, which garnered millions of views and thousands of comments, the smart Pomeranian seems to understand Mom asking what’s wrong. His answer is kind of incredible, as he shows where he’s hurt after getting his shot.

I’m pretty sure Gary isn’t actually a dog, but a human trapped in the cutest little body, because he’s impressive! Whether he’s on a stick date with his pup friend, showing Mom where he got his shot, or running for president, he’s got my vote!
