Excited Pit Bull’s Over-the-Top Reaction To Her Black Cat Sister Has Everyone Delightfully Confused

Whoever said that dogs and cats don’t get along has clearly never met Bitty and Cosmo. These sisters don’t speak the same language or even share the same species, but they are still each other’s BFFs. Still, that doesn’t mean every moment they share is sweet and wholesome!

The dynamic duo’s mom, Aidan Moore, shared the most hilarious video of Bitty the Pit Bull reacting (or, in this case, overreacting) to her sister’s presence when she sat down on the couch beside her. The poor black cat hadn’t even gotten comfortable when her sister’s intrusive thoughts suddenly took over.

What exactly was she trying to accomplish here? It looked like Bitty went through every emotion in the span of a few seconds, and she couldn’t quite decide what to do. We’ve all been there!

Cosmo, meanwhile, was just as confused as everyone else. The patient black cat had laid her head down literally two seconds before Bitty started bugging her, and if that’s not peak sibling behavior, I don’t know what is.

“I can’t tell if she wants her to move, to cuddle her, to play with her, or fight her,” @macaroniwrap admitted. I don’t even think she knows! She clearly wasn’t expecting her kitty sibling to hop up on the couch, and it’s taking her a minute to process such big feelings.

@Cmab2022 made me laugh out loud when she wrote, “she was doing so much and absolutely nothing at the same time.” She annoyed her sister—that’s something! Dog mom @aidanreese8 was either very lucky or very observant to catch this hilarity on video.

Cat and Dog Siblings

Bitty and Cosmo aren’t the only cat and dog siblings who have taken the Internet by storm. One massive Maine Coon cat recently went viral for growing to the size of his Golden Retriever sibling, and he’s only one-year-old! Even kittens can get along with gentle and empathetic dogs, though their mama cat may have mixed feelings.

Cats and dogs can coexist, get along, or become attached at the hip, depending on how they’re raised and introduced. That being said, not every cat or dog will be up for having a sibling of a different species (or having a sibling at all), and that’s OK, too! That just makes relationships like Bitty and Cosmo’s even more special.
