Lunar New Year is almost upon us, bringing with it beautiful traditions, family time, and hope for a prosperous new year. Red envelopes and celebrations often mark the occasion: this year, the Year of the Fire Horse ushers in new beginnings on February 17. But, as with other holidays, pet parents don’t want their furry family members to feel left out. They often purchase pet toys, outfits, and accessories to commemorate the festivities. Thankfully, retailers have shifted their stock accordingly, providing a plethora of options, especially Costco.
Costco is the bundle maven, and the popular retailer did not skimp on this year’s dog toy set, which combines the zodiac animal with pieces inspired by popular Asian culture. While you might have a little time to prep for the celebration, you might not have much time before this adorable Lunar New Year bundle flies off Costco’s shelves.

Bark Lunar New Year Dog Toy 6-Pack, $17.99 at Costco
Recently featured on everyone’s favorite Costco deal-watching Instagram page, Costco Buys, the Lunar New Year bundle is full of toys your pup can enjoy from now until February 17 (and likely long after). The 6-piece set from Bark is available in warehouses for $17.99, a better deal than buying the pieces separately at retailers that also carry Bark’s products. Of course, if you only want one of the toys, you could go that route. But where is the fun in that, especially since every one of these toys has its own unique adaptation of the holiday.
Lucky You Leftovers is a twist on the classic Chinese food take-out box. Hide treats inside and fold up the tabs to give your pup some sensory time. Plus, it has the crazy crinkle for extra fun. The Year of the Horseplay toy is a gorgeous red horse with vibrant markings. The zodiac animal is not only filled with fluff and crinkles; it also has a squeaker. Neigh Years Coin features a horse front and center, galloping off into the new year. The fluffy homage to 2026 has multiple materials and textures to keep your pup’s focus, including fluff, a squeaker, and crazy crinkle.
While the next two toys are technically singles, I would be remiss not to mention them together. Bao Wow and Boop Dumpling are two adorable fetch toys that your dog can chase down for as long as you’re willing to throw them. Or, as long as they are willing to let the squeaker live in the middle of the toy. The dumplings also have fluff and crazy crinkle in case your pup decides fetch time is over.
The final toy in this adorable set is the Good Fortune Envelope. Reminiscent of the red envelopes that family elders often bestow on the younger generation, your pup will find their good fortune once they figure out how to open the pouch and extract the treats you’ve hidden inside. The pouch has crazy crinkle and a squeaker, just in case your clever pup finds the treat pouch quickly and needs something else to hold their attention. Bark’s packaging reads, “Let your pup sniff it out, and enjoy a wealth of playtime abundance!”
With an abundant selection like this, I am sure your pup will have a hard time getting bored and will love ushering in the good fortune and blessings of the Lunar New Year with you.
