When @fridaloera38’s daughter met a pocket-sized Shih Tzu puppy on January 23, she couldn’t contain her joyful response! She smiled, laughed, and cuddled the little dog to her heart’s content, and the puppy seemed just as excited as she was.

This video is dangerous for anyone with baby or puppy fever! Frida’s daughter has a smile that could light up any room, and she stole every viewer’s heart when she hugged her new puppy friend.

Viewers like @hayley.m.d. couldn’t help but notice how much the sweet little girl loves her puppy, “and that puppy loves her right back. I bet that’s the best hug they’ve ever had.” Considering how young this pup must be, it probably was!

It really does look like this little puppy is having a great time with their new bestie. They made no effort to run away—in fact, they crawled into the baby girl’s lap themselves—and they couldn’t stop giving their BFF the sweetest kisses!

Shih Tzus were bred to be comforting and entertaining lap dogs for Chinese royalty, and they still excel at their job today. As Frida’s daughter has already learned, it’s impossible to be bored with such a sweet and fun-loving pup around—their cuteness is only a bonus!
