A Mini Dachshund puppy named Moose is proving that sometimes the universe really does take its time on the details. With a perfectly split face that’s half white and half gray merle, plus those pale blue eyes, this little Dachshund genuinely looks like a custom design.
In the video, Moose’s dog mom introduces him to viewers while explaining just how tiny he is and how cold it’s been outside. She smiles and says, “Let’s put a sweater on Moose together. Oops, I didn’t mean for that to rhyme,” before gently slipping a tiny gray sweater over his head.
The sweet TikTok clip was shared by @arielledworetsky, and once the sweater is on, Moose freezes. He just stands there. Completely still. Looking mighty confused. His pale blue eyes look slightly betrayed, slightly lost, and very Eeyore-coded. One commenter wrote, “His eyes are hilarious, he’s like Eeyore,” and honestly, that is the exact expression.

The perfectly divided merle pattern down his face makes everything even more dramatic. The sharp contrast between white and gray frames his tiny features in a way that feels almost too perfect. “The coloring on him is SOO CUTE,” someone wrote, and that pretty much sums it up.
Another viewer joked, “He is not a moosed. I’ll see myself out,” which deserves at least a polite golf clap, LOL.
People could not get over his markings. “He is pure perfection.” “His markings are gorgeous!” “As a parent of three Dachshunds, that baby has the prettiest markings I’ve ever seen on a Dachshund.” “Ma’am, you have the cutest dog I’ve ever seen.” And perhaps the most dramatic comment of all: “I’m literally shedding tears over how cute he is.”
It is hard to argue. Moose standing there in his tiny sweater, looking baffled by the concept of sleeves, is peak puppy content.
How Rare Are Merle Dachshunds?
Merle Dachshunds are known for their marbled coat pattern, which creates patches of diluted color throughout the fur. In blue or gray merle Dachshunds, the coat often appears smoky with lighter sections mixed in, and it’s not uncommon for them to have striking light-colored or even blue eyes.
While merle patterns are well known in Dachshunds, a perfectly symmetrical split face like Moose’s is less common and tends to stand out dramatically. Because the merle gene affects pigment distribution, no two merle Dachshunds look exactly alike. That uniqueness is part of what makes them so cute.

In Moose’s case, the clean division of color paired with those pale blue eyes makes him look almost storybook-level adorable. Sweater confusion aside, he may genuinely be one of the most photogenic Mini Dachshund puppies out there.
