Who says dogs don’t appreciate the finer things in life?
We see that in a new video from an account called @thedachshundedit, which features Dachshund-themed merchandise.
This video features Clementine, who is a Dachshund influencer (yes, those exist), unboxing a rare, limited-edition Hermès Dachshund scarf!
Long-haired blond Clementine clearly knows what she is doing as she carefully unwraps the ribbon on the heart-shaped Hermès orange box. This is not her first rodeo!
Then, with a little help from Mom, she gets the lid off the box, and out comes the beautiful pink scarf.
When the scarf is laid out flat, we’re able to see, though it is a little tricky, the outline of a Dachshund on the scarf amid all the pinks, yellows, and oranges.
The beautiful pink scarf is actually a Valentine’s Day limited-release silk scarf from 2021 called “Woof Woof,” which features two Dachshunds and comes in the iconic heart-shaped Hermès box.
Clementine’s mom was able to find one more of these rare Hermès Dachshund scarves, but in her bio, said she had a few more.
Clementine is a very glamorous dog who has traveled the world in style and has over 25k followers.
She is a big fan of Hermès, Macha, headscarves, Erewhon smoothies, and really anything glamorous.
Dachshunds Continue To Be the ‘It Dogs’ of Fashion
Dachshunds continue to be the “It dogs” of fashion.
We have been seeing them spring up not only in fashion design over the last few years but also on mugs, plates, rugs, and lamps (thank you, Anthropologie, HomeGoods, and T.J. Maxx).
“I think it’s the newest, freshest shape we have seen in the market in the last three to four years,” Will Cooper, the senior vice president for women’s designer clothing, shoes, and bags at Saks Fifth Avenue, told The New York Times. “It feels like something people don’t already have in their wardrobes.”
They also make for very cute bag charms or even bags shaped like Dachshunds.
