Magical Witch Cat Wearing a Tiny Hat Is Here To Heal Your Tummy Aches

If you are anything like me and occasionally wake up with a mysterious stomachache after eating something deeply questionable—like IDK, an irresponsible number of French fries, or an entire pound of gummy bears that seemed like a good idea at the time—allow me to introduce your new medical professional. Her name is Cami. She is a very large Tabby cat. And she is absolutely magical.

In the clip, Cami sits perfectly still, wearing a tiny black witch hat, radiating the calm authority of someone who absolutely knows what she’s doing, even if she does not. The caption reads, “She’s casting a spell to cure your tummy ache. You are now cured.” And honestly? I did feel slightly better. Either that or I got distracted, which is basically the same thing.

TikTok user @cool.cat.cami shared the video, and viewers immediately volunteered as patients.

“How did she know I got a tummy ache?” one person asked, which feels less like a question and more like fear.

Another wrote, “Thank you, queen, I needed that.”

Someone else insisted, “It’s working, I’m not lying.”

One viewer said they were dealing with morning sickness and begged the Tabby cat to keep doing whatever she was doing. Another claimed they didn’t even have a stomachache, but felt healed anyway, which honestly sounds like emotional support magic.

My Maine Coon Meatball would never agree to wear a witch hat. He would simply eat it and then scream at me for allowing such disrespect. Cami, meanwhile, sits there like a chubby little witch dispensing stomachache blessings to the masses.

Also, I’m not saying she looks like she charges in cat treats per session, but she probably does. You absolutely have to send this to everyone you know who gets rando tummy aches, which is basically everyone.

Some People Used To Believe Cats Had Magical Powers

According to the website All The Tropes, “Throughout history, cats have gone paw in paw with the supernatural. In Ancient Egypt, they were considered to be sacred to the goddess of the moon, Bast; in medieval Europe, they were tied to witchcraft; in Japan and Russia, they are heralds of good luck; in the Muslim world, they are regarded as born lucky, benevolent djinni, while in other places, they are harbingers of misfortune. In Western culture, cats are purported to have nine lives, and Black Cats, in particular, carry associations with witchcraft and both bad and good luck.”

Believe it or not, this cat may not actually be magical or able to heal you, but there is some truth to watching cute cat videos and feeling better afterward.

Why Watching Cute Animal Videos Is Good for Your Health

Research suggests that watching cute animals can genuinely boost mood and reduce stress. Seeing those cute faces and adorable behavior can trigger the release of dopamine and oxytocin, chemicals associated with pleasure, bonding, and relaxation.

Studies have also shown that brief exposure to cute content can improve focus and increase feelings of calm. In other words, scrolling past a chubby kitty in a witch hat might not cure your stomachache medically, but it can absolutely help your brain chill out about it.

And sometimes, that’s all you really need. That, and maybe fewer gummy bears next time.
