Huge Mastiff Gets Stuck With Tiny Pup’s Bed Proving Who’s Really the Boss

Winnie is a 7-month-old Mastiff puppy, and her older brother, Brody, is much smaller than she is. You would think, because she’s so much bigger than him, that she would be the one in charge, but you might be surprised, as you’ll see in this video that their pawrents shared on TikTok recently.

The video is only 11 seconds long, but it had us cracking up. It shows the two dogs in their dog beds, but something is off about the scene. After seeing which dog was in which bed, it’s pretty clear who runs the show in their house!

Winnie’s humans shared the answer they’re often asked: “Who’s the boss of the house?” In the caption, they joked, “This should answer any questions!”

Funny Reactions to Winnie Getting the Tiny Dog Bed

After reading through some of the comments, it seems that some big dogs don’t seem to mind trying to lie down in tiny dog beds. @Poohmu shared, “My mastiff used to sleep in our small dog’s bed. He had the sides completely flat. He had a huge bed. Nobody bullied him. He just loved that small, tiny bed that only fit his butt LOL!”

One commenter made us laugh when they pointed out, “Something ain’t right here, geometrically speaking LOL!”

Having the little dogs bossing around big dogs is also the norm in some homes. @TipsFromTheBartender totally gets Winnie and Brodie’s situation, “My 7-pound Shih Tzu would bully my 200-pound Mastiff!” @LovedByDogs added, “Haha. My Frenchies run my house, not my German Shepherd!”

It’s not unusual for a big dog to try to squeeze into a tiny bed, and there’s actually a good reason for it. Those snug, confined spaces can make dogs feel safe and secure. After all, dogs are denning animals by nature. In the wild, they seek out small, enclosed areas to rest, making them cozy, protected environments.

While Winnie may look much too big to feel comfortable in that tiny bed, maybe she sticks with it because she respects the real boss of the house!
