Adorable Rescue Dog Tries to ‘Save’ Cartoon Babies From TV Villains

Some dogs watch television casually, while others take it very seriously. Dogs love watching objects move on television. But what happens when the object on the TV is a baby?

In a viral TikTok video, we see a rescue dog sitting in front of the TV as cartoon babies appear on the screen. At first, he seems curious, watching closely. But when a character tries to harm or threaten one of the babies, he immediately reacts, barking and even stepping close to the screen trying to intervene.

The video shows several cartoons, and each time one of the babies is in danger, the dog reacts protectively. It is as if he believes the situation is real.

Most importantly, the same video also shows how protective he is of the family baby. Bosco is a popular rescue dog on TikTok, and his bond with his baby sibling is as close as it can be. Many dogs show protective behavior toward infants and young children. While some breeds are more protective than others, all dogs are pack-oriented animals. And in their mind and social etiquette, vulnerable members need protection from others.

How the Internet Reacted

Bosco is one of the more popular rescue dogs on TikTok. He has a loving and loyal fan following. In this video, fans agree on one thing: the family has a true nanny. Some of them commented, “Bosco babysitter,” “Ok, guard dog” and “You have a nanny.”

How to Make Sure Your Dog Loves Your Baby

If you’re expecting a baby or introducing a baby to your dog, preparation matters.

Start by gradually exposing your dog to baby-related sounds before the baby arrives. Play recordings of crying at low volumes and reward calm behavior. Let your dog sniff baby items like blankets or lotion so new scents become familiar.

When introducing your dog to the baby, keep the environment calm. Allow your dog to observe from a comfortable distance. Reward relaxed body language with praise or treats.

It’s also important to maintain your dog’s routine. Sudden changes in attention can lead to confusion or jealousy. Continue daily walks, playtime and one-on-one affection so your dog doesn’t feel replaced.

Most importantly, never leave a dog and baby alone together, no matter how gentle your dog appears.
