It’s always nice when someone gives you a hand. Of course, some responsibilities are easier to outsource than others.
In this case, it’s a dog who steps up to get the job done. In an adorable clip from TikTok, we meet a sweet Golden Retriever who takes the leash and walks, or technically, pet-sits, his little brother, a beautiful Black Lab.
Take a look at this darling duo out for a stroll together.
“This is how they can run ‘free’ together without being on a leash with us walking them,” the pups’ family captioned the clip. “Our Black Lab, Jack, will run off as soon as he gets a scent of something. Gunnar is completely different; he will not leave our side, so this works for them. He is babysitting his big brother ❤️.”
Aw, that is so precious! Nothing like having a big brother to keep you in line!

“Being a sibling comes with responsibilities! 😂” one person said.
Good thing Gunnar is up for the task! But these two aren’t the only duo with this kind of relationship.
“When my Husky escapes the yard, I let my Dalmatian out to bring him home, and it works every time 🤣” another viewer noted.
Wow! That must be fun to watch! A sled dog turns herding dog, we love it!

How Can You Help Pet Siblings Get Along?
While Gunnar and Jack seem to be great pals, not all sibling relationships are as loving and peaceful.
If you’re thinking of adding another pet to the family and wondering how to establish a nice bond, experts have a few suggestions.
Ensure each pup receives plenty of individual attention to combat potential jealousy. Also, recognize that each dog has a unique personality, so training, while necessary, isn’t a one-size-fits-all situation. Take your individual pet’s needs and preferences into account.
If you’re fortunate, your pups could end up becoming walking buddies just like Jack and Gunnar.
