What Do Porcupines Like To Eat?
According to the African Wildlife Foundation, porcupines will usually eat fruit that has fallen off trees, roots, bark, and tubers. They will also eat cultivated root crops, like potatoes, carrots, and cassava.
Interestingly, porcupines will defend themselves by attacking in reverse. They will run backwards towards their enemies, ramming them with their sharp quills.
Thankfully for the porcupine in this video, he is in a safe space, so he won’t have to attack anyone to defend himself anytime soon. All he has to do is focus on munching away on his sweet potato slice, which couldn’t be any cuter!
