Animal advocate Isabel Klee has fostered over 30 rescue dogs with the help of her Corgi mix, Simon. Her current foster, a Shih-Tzu named Raven, is recovering from a recent surgery, but that didn’t stop Klee from adding another canine cutie to the mix.
Crossing paths with an abandoned dog, Klee brought the precious pooch home. Simon immediately stepped into his big brother role and is already teaching the pup some life skills.
In the TikTok from @simonsits, Klee explained how Simon took it upon himself to share his toy with the abandoned dog and give him some pointers on how to play.
“The most wholesome thing is happening right now,” Klee shared in amazement. “My dog Simon is teaching this dog that we found abandoned the other day how to play with a toy. He’s actively choosing to share his toy with him.”
The small tan and black dog stood on the couch as Simon held the toy out for him. Simon patiently stood with the toy between his teeth, silently encouraging the pooch to try pulling it away from him. It was like a canine tug-of-war tutorial.
The Corgi mix demonstrated how the toy squeaks, then held the plushie against the couch so the little pup could have a turn. The little dog barked in confusion, seeking further direction from his new furry friend.
Simon Tossed the Toy on His Own
The lesson continued with Klee throwing the toy for the precious pooch to fetch. Once he retrieved it, Simon got back to work with step-by-step instructions. At one point, Simon somehow pushed the toy with his mouth and sort of tossed it to the other dog.
“How did he do that?” the onscreen text asked, pointing out the impressive feat.

Simon’s patience paid off, where the little dog seemed to get the hang of this whole playing-with-a-plushie thing. The tender scene showed Simon’s empathy and willingness to help his fellow fur baby.
The caption summed up his kindness best, saying, “Simon is too good for this world.”
