Brrrr, it’s cold outside. Good thing that one senior dog isn’t afraid of the snow. In fact, the sweet girl probably is heading into the end of her golden years. But that didn’t stop the Golden Retriever from experiencing her favorite season. Not even a blizzard could keep her away! A video of the dog delighting in the snow day is the heartwarming clip we all need to see.
The 9-year-old Golden Retriever is such a light. You can see how much she loves the snow in a video her mom shared online.
It’s so clear that Princess Luna is loved by her humans. They know everything about the Golden Retriever, including her likes and dislikes. Now in her senior years, they want Luna to get to experience all of her favorites one last time. Which includes taking her out in the recent snow storm. She deserves to see the snow.

Just like Anna from Frozen, the cold doesn’t seem to bother Luna one bit. She was beaming as she and her human trudged through the wintery bluster. I bet she even liked the wind whipping around on her face.
I just know this moment was so bitter sweet for her mom. Especially because it seems that she knows the end is near.
“The snow princess got to enjoy one last blizzard,” the woman wrote in the video’s caption.
The comments section couldn’t take it. It’s all so sad.
“Last? I can not keep crying on this app. These types of posts come up too often and I can not handle them anymore. These angels deserve so much more time,” wrote one person.
“Look at her smiling and closing her eyes as the crisp wind and snowflakes blow against her lovely face,” another commenter chimed in.
“All jokes aside, anticipatory grief is so so hard. She looks so well loved and happy, you did a fantastic job raising her,” someone else praised.
How Long Do Golden Retrievers Live?
It’s not a topic that many like to think about, but at some point your pup might need to cross the rainbow bridge. Golden Retrievers have a lifespan of about 10 to 12 years. But as we all know, there’s never enough time with your dog.
