Tiny Morkie Becomes a Total Ballerina in His Dreams

One of my favorite things that my dog does is move and ever so gently bark in her sleep. She’s been in this habit since she was a puppy, and eight years later, she’s still an active sleeper. If she’s dreaming, you’re going to know about it just by looking at her, and while I can’t ever figure out exactly what she’s dreaming about, it’s adorable to witness.

It’s a little easier to guess what Theo, the Morkie (a Maltese and Yorkshire Terrier mix), is dreaming about in the video below, though. Somebody is on his way to becoming a professional ballerina!

This video, shared by @tinydogtheo on TikTok, shows what happens when Theo is sound asleep. Those little paws are moving up and down like he’s dancing a very complicated choreography. This precious boy!

Adding “The Waltz of the Flowers” as the song for this video truly couldn’t be a more perfect choice, either. I would watch Theo perform any day, and judging by the comments on the video, I’m definitely not alone in that.

“It’s adorable when they do this,” one fellow dog parent wrote, while another commenter called him “so graceful.”

In general, Theo seems to be an especially adorable napper—especially when he wakes up like he slept himself into another dimension. Look at the cute, smooshed face he has when he first wakes up. It’s no wonder he already has nearly 50k followers on TikTok and counting:

And just like many dogs who sleep hard, the other videos on his account show that he plays hard, too—just as he should. That’s his job, after all.

This dog may be tiny, but it seems like he already has a big talent for dancing. Theo clearly belongs on stage!
