These little birdies are so precious! When @typeleaguepress found the nest, they didn’t know what type of bird it belonged to. That was until they spotted a mama hummingbird as they kept watch over the nest.

Now those eggs have hatched, and viewers are equally as in awe of them as @typeleaguepress. In fact, this sighting was a first for many of them. “No way…. Adorable, I’ve never seen a hummingbird nest. Thanks for sharing,” said @schulcrv6mp. “It’s truly so exciting!” expressed @typeleaguepress, replying to them.

@jenfergirl couldn’t believe what they were seeing and chimed in, “Stoppppppp this can’t be real. If it is….what a blessing for you to see this.” To put an end to any doubts, @typeleaguepress answered, “It’s real! We feel so honored that this mama hummingbird chose our yard for her nest.”

“I have NEVER seen baby ones until now!” exclaimed @jordantatro2019. And @c_glass33 added, “My daughter called them little jelly beans.”Of course, @typeleaguepress agreed.

An Interesting Fact About Hummingbird Nests

“Fun fact: hummingbirds build their nests partially using strands from spiderwebs! So the nest can stretch as the tiny babies get bigger,” shared @ferngalileo, and they are correct. Like most birds, Hummingbirds build their nests out of several materials in nature, such as moss and twigs. The World of Hummingbird’s website explains that spiderwebs can act like glue for the nests, and the webs are flexible. So as this commenter said, those webs can stretch as the babies grow bigger and bigger.

Speaking of them growing, @chouandtell wrote, “I already can’t handle them flying away,” and @typeleaguepress replied, “Gonna be the saddest day ever.” We can imagine! But in the meantime, they have the opportunity to see something special. Watch over these babies for all of us!
