A litter of kittens was recently rescued after a driver pulled up to the Los Angeles County animal shelter in Palmdale and told workers they heard meows coming from their car engine.
County animal control officers inspected the engine and found three newborn kittens under the hood. The kittens were a little dirty, but unharmed, the County of Los Angeles Palmdale Animal Care Center said.

“All three kittens have now been placed with one of our most experienced fosters to ensure these kittens have the best care after getting off this bumpy ride,” the shelter said.

The shelter will provide an update when the kittens are available for adoption.
