It’s easy to assume that vacuuming isn’t high on anyone’s list of favorite activities. Thankfully, the invention of robot vacuums has significantly reduced the amount of time people have to spend on this incredibly boring task. Unfortunately, with this awesome household gadget comes a new fear for pets everywhere, and based on social media videos of dogs’ tails getting sucked into them, the concern is valid!
One vocal pup loudly expressed her opinion about the circular floor monster, and her mom caught the whole thing on camera. Lucie, a TikTok-famous Golden Retriever, is known for her “wooing,” and if you haven’t heard it, you’re in for a treat. The pup frequently lets the whole house know when she has a thought on a particular subject, and apparently, the robot vacuum is next on her list of dislikes.
As the video starts, Lucie follows the unit into the other room and gives an extended howl in the vacuum’s general direction. She may have been concerned about her stuffed unicorn’s safety, but thankfully, the robot turned in the opposite direction.

Lucie continues to adamantly object the vacuum session. However, anyone with a fluffy Golden Retriever knows they are the very reason the household needs a vacuum that runs all on its own. Otherwise, the dog hair would consume everyone and everything in its path—especially during shedding season!
Let’s Check in on the Comments Section
The Golden Retriever’s dislike of the vacuum is widely understood, and many of her followers left supportive comments, while others simply found her antics quite funny! Here are a few highlights:
“She’s wooing to assert dominance to ensure that it is known that when it comes to food, she’s the only Hoover!”
“‘She sees me rolling… she WOOing’ – Robot Vacuum. LOL!”
“I thought the vacuum was making the noise at first. 🤣 Our Newfie hides from them and attacks the broom.”
One thing is certain: Lucie’s wooing makes her adorable no matter what story she’s telling.
