Despite their innocent and angelic faces, dogs can be quite the characters. From side-eyes and stealing people’s seats after they get up (hi, Kiwi!), dogs definitely have a mischievous side to them. Fortunately for us, that means we often get hilarious moments, especially when we aren’t the humans involved in said chaos. One of those mischievous moments has to do with when you can just imagine what a dog is truly thinking. Some of the most expressive creatures, dogs tend to tell us what they really mean with just a look, much to our delight.
Even though it’s just a skit, Teddy the golden retriever showcased his very best comedic skills with a little teasing of his human, Johnathan. Although I’m sure Teddy loves his Dad, we can’t help but believe that there might be just a teensy bit of truth in this video.

Viewers React to This Golden’s Hilarious Take on His Dad
We often hear people say that dogs are too dirty to be on furniture or to touch humans, but what if dogs think the same thing? That’s the point of view we learn from Teddy in his latest video with his human dad. With the caption “These creatures are NASTY. Wash your hands after touching…” we see a loving dad-and-Teddy moment that quickly turns savage.

Soon after petting, Teddy strolls over to the sink and gives his paws a few rinses. At the end of the day, Teddy doesn’t know where his dad’s paws, or hands, have been. Turning that stereotype of filthy dogs on its head, Teddy teaches his haters a lesson on who should really be worried.
In the comment section, Teddy’s viewers had an absolute field day with the joke, some coming quickly to his defense. One commenter added, “They say dogs have way fewer germs in their mouths than humans do….so, there ya go! Teddy, you’re ‘SPOT’ on!” Further down the comments, another viewer chimed in with “Very good Teddy. You never know what Johnathon has been touching before you especially if he was petting the neighbor dog again. Lol. Love you guys so much.”
To be fair, it seems like Teddy is mostly concerned with his own health, and that’s something we can absolutely get behind. Maybe Dad will even accept wearing a mask or something, you can’t be too careful!
