Are there any two words sweeter in the English language than spaghetti night? It’s such a treat. One English Lab is definitely a fan of the special meal — probably because mom sneaks him a tasty noodle on the side. The dog loves it! And a video of the pup chowing down on the noodle strand is so dang adorable.
You know what could turn any dog’s frown upside down? A noodle! The English Lab’s mama knew this, which is why she offered her pup one in the video that’s now gone viral.
Dogs have feelings too, you know. They aren’t all tailwags and puppy breath. On the day the video was recorded, poor Toro looked a little blue. The English Labrador Retriever needed something to cheer him up. Which is when his mama came up with a brilliant idea — “Would you like…a noodle?” she asked.

Would he! The English Lab was so stinkin’ happy when his mom offered him some pasta. He chomped the whole thing down in three seconds flat.
“Yummy!” the dog mom praised. You can say that again, Mom.
The dog mom praised her pup for his “perfect chomps” and joked that she was teaching him the word “noodle” — “to be used for future car bribes.”
Something tells me that it’s going to work like a charm. Once you try noodles it’s hard to resist! People in the comments section were cracking up just as hard as I was.
“Unmatched joy at first sight of noodles lmao,” wrote one person.
“Your Labra-shark is ferociously adorable,” someone else joked.
“I love the way this Black Bear eats his noodle,” teased another commenter.
“The most handsome carb king,” quipped one person.
Can Dogs Eat Pasta?
A dog’s palette is truly unmatched. They’ll eat anything! But that doesn’t always mean they should. Your dog will probably want to try some of your people food, but can they eat pasta? Is it safe?
It really depends on how you look at it. There is nothing toxic in plain, cooked pasta — nothing that will hurt your dog. But it’s not really good to feed them pasta either. Feeding them pasta too often can lead to obesity in dogs. So the key here is to use this as a true treat, if you’re going to feed them pasta at all. Or find another snacky-snack that is better for your pup. They’ll appreciate it no matter what!
