Dogs are priceless exactly as they are, but every pup parent knows that some moments take the sweetness to the next level. My Siberian Husky’s head tilts leave me swooning, for example, and I can never resist my senior Cockapoo’s begging.
For a tiny Chihuahua named Bluey, his sleepy vibes reign supreme. Not even his family can resist the little howls he lets out right before curling up for a nap! When you see the precious video that @bluey_chi posted on November 1, you’ll see exactly why this 3-pound pup has everyone wrapped around his little paw.
OMG, what a little baby! He looks so tiny when he curls up in a ball, but nothing is smaller than his high-pitched howl. He may be a petite Chihuahua, but his confidence is huge!

Commenter @zombiezunite wondered whether dogs do this as a way of “Calling the ancestors to watch over them while they sleep,” but others think the idea is much simpler. After all, “the world must know his feelings,” even if he’s about to hit the hay.
While this tiny dog snoozes the day (or night) away, he’s simultaneously melting thousands of hearts. Whether it’s his tiny voice, his tiny size, or his big feelings that have his new fans watching again and again, there’s no denying what an adorable little pup Bluey is.
Tiny Chihuahuas
Bluey doesn’t exactly tip the scales at 3 pounds, but he’s not the smallest Chihuahua the world has ever seen. Pearl, who holds the Guinness World Record for the shortest living dog, weighs only 1.22 pounds!
In general, Applehead Chihuahuas, like Bluey, have smaller bodies and shorter legs than Deerhead Chihuahuas. As a breed, Chis are more diverse than many people realize, though, like every dog, each Chi is one-of-a-kind. After all, how often do you see sleepy dogs letting out the howl of a lifetime?
