Happy Birthday, Lucy!

The Blandford Nature Center in Grand Rapids is having a free, public birthday party for their turkey vulture, Lucy, to celebrate her 48th birthday.

From 1 to 2 p.m. on Friday, visitors can meet at the patio if it’s nice out, or the Wildlife Education Center if it isn’t, for a chance to talk to Lucy and watch her shred up her toys and snacks.

Admission to Blandford is free for the month of April.
