The video, posted to Japanese pet styling salon Lovely Grooming’s YouTube channel, is so heart-melting and precious, we can’t stop watching it.
The toy dog came to the appointment with a fringe so long that no one in the comments could understand how the poor thing could even see. The dog is so patient and well-trained, no one could blame you for wondering if the cute thing really was a stuffed animal.
With each gentle snip of the scissors, we see more and more of the cuddly dog’s face, and by the end of the treatment, this huggable dog looks the perfect picture of a storybook pet.
“I love when he puts his paw on the hand. It’s so cute,” one commenter says.
“Bruh your dog is so calm, my dog moves so many times when I’m around her face/eyes,” another replies.
“Precious puppy,” another says, and we agree!

How Often Do Maltipoos Need Haircuts?
Maltipoos, which are a cross between a Maltese and a Toy or Miniature Poodle, require frequent grooming and haircuts due to their long, non-shedding coat and its rapid growth.
In fact, it’s recommended that Maltipoos see a groomer every six to eight weeks to prevent matting and tangling. Toward that end, it’s also recommended that you brush your Maltipoo’s hair at least twice a week and bathe them every three to four weeks.
To keep your Maltipoo in the best condition possible, daily brushing helps prevent long, non-shedding fur from matting, while home baths every two to four weeks (depending on how oily your pet’s coat becomes) keep the fur luscious and healthy.
It’s most important to keep the face, ears and paws clean to prevent staining and infection.
Other than that, trips to get their fur trimmed every six to eight weeks keep them playing and seeing without any impediments! Plus, it keeps them looking oh-so cute, just like this adorable Maltipoo!
