Personal space. Dogs don’t really get those two words. It’s honestly one of the reasons we absolutely love our fluff babies. No matter what size they are, what you’re doing, or how dirty or smelly they are, dogs will absolutely get in your personal space. TikTok user @CopperTheBoxer recently published a minute-long montage of Copper the Boxer invading its human parent’s personal space, and we absolutely love it.
The video, captioned “When your personal space is your dog’s favorite space,” starts with Copper the Boxer, literally licking his mother’s cheek—invading her personal space—while she’s on the couch. The caption on the video reads, “Personal space when you have a Boxer? Never.” Copper the Boxer then goes for a kiss on the lips before just freezing, his tongue hanging out.

Next up, Copper the Boxer again gets on the couch, stands over his mother, and goes for the cheek and lip kisses. He continues to stand on the couch with his tongue hanging out and his head right next to his mother’s. We haven’t really seen a dog hang their tongue out that much. It’s so weird and hilarious.

Up next, Copper the Boxer finally starts to chill—at least he sits down and removes his face from right next to his mother’s face. But he still sits on the couch right next to her like a human with his front leg over her leg. And, yes, the tongue remains out. But he can’t help himself for long and starts to lean in close again, going for the face kisses. And that’s how it goes on for the rest of the 60 seconds of the video. Lots of invading of personal space. Lots of kissing on the face.
