Baby animal cuteness is without a doubt one of the most powerful forces in the known universe. It is a force so powerful that it can convince a full-grown elephant to give up their favorite toy of the past 25 years, so that their baby can play with it.

That’s the story of Oregon Zoo elephant Rose-Tu and her adorable daughter, the baby elephant, Tula-Tu, and the blue ball they now share.

According to this video, Rose-Tu has loved playing with this big blue ball since before her daughter was even a twinkle in her eye. However, motherhood has changed her perspective.

While she might have previously been hesitant to let any other elephant play with her favorite blue ball, she wants Tula-Tu to experience all the same joys as her, so she is now sharing it with her. And based on this adorable footage, we think that Rose-Tu has made the right call.

Tula-Tu just looks as happy as a clam playing with her mother’s blue ball! She will spend hours rolling around and playfully resting her body on it, while her mother looks on proudly.

What was once the playful joy of one generation has now become the favorite pastime of another. This blue ball is a wonderful way to deepen the bond between a mother and a daughter, through a shared love of play!

The Internet simply couldn’t get enough of Rose-Tu, Tula-Tu, and their shared love of this big blue ball!

Many people commented that the way Tula-Tu was taking after her mother was ridiculously cute. While others shared that they can easily watch this video all day.

Tula Also Has Incredible ‘Soccer’ Skills

As this other video shows, Tula-Tu is also a very “skilled” soccer player. She isn’t playing soccer with a soccer ball, though. Instead, she uses a pumpkin.

But nevertheless, her skills are still very impressive, as evidenced by all the off-camera reactions from nearby zoo visitors watching Tula-Tu do her thing.

One of them even remarked that watching Tula-Tu play soccer with this pumpkin “Is the best thing I have ever seen!”

We totally agree! Maybe outside of watching Tula-Tu and her mother play with their favorite blue ball, this might just be the best thing anyone has ever seen!
