The universe loves to drop a surprise in the middle of our everyday lives, I think, to make sure we’re paying attention. If you’re lucky, it’s the adorable kind of surprise that brings more joy than dread. The best part is, you have no idea when something big might happen.
That’s what recently happened to one Texas rancher when a regular, everyday drive home turned into something bigger than him: A litter of the cutest puppies came out of the woods in hopes of finding a hero. Thankfully, this is one heartwarming story with a happy ending!

I’m sure @hotmessranch owner Steven Purcell didn’t know what life had in store for him on that kismet day, but the puppy distribution system took over times six! Take a look at the moment he discovered these curious angels as they let the kind stranger know that they were in need of a second chance.
Six puppies—all females—came up to Steven, and you can tell by the video that they were so grateful. As explained in an update video, the sweet babies were likely dumped (and unfortunately, he says it happens a lot near that area), so it’s unclear how long they might’ve been waiting for help, but I’m so glad someone like Steven came along to scoop up the stray pups.

How To Adopt One of the Cute Pups
This is the exact kind of story that would land six puppies in my home (!), but I digress. After their clean bill of health from the vet, Steven and his family decided to put the puppies up for adoption to make sure they get their deserved happy endings.
But first, the introductions! Ariel, Cinderella, Moana, Tiana, Jasmine, and Belle have stolen my heart, and it’s clear many of the ranch’s fans have their favorites already.
