Sometimes we call for our pets, and they act like they suddenly can’t hear a thing…which usually means they’re up to no good or hiding somewhere they shouldn’t be. That’s exactly what Bitsy the Chihuahua’s mom thought was happening, but nope! Bitsy wasn’t being naughty at all. She just didn’t want to get out of bed!
And honestly? Same, girl. As the weather gets colder, nothing feels better than staying snuggled up in a warm, cozy bed. Bitsy even built herself a tiny blanket fort, and the way she does those little stretches while slowly waking up is just too cute for words!
Bitsy’s mom called her “the cutest little bed bug,” and we can’t disagree! We also don’t blame her for just snuggling under the blankets and zoning out. It’s one of our favorite pastimes, too!

@Radd van Verzet shared, “As a mini Yorkie mom, I swear they are lost in the pillows all the time LOL!” Bitsy’s mom was spot on when she replied, “Lightly patting every area before you sit down is part of the territory of owning a small dog, haha!”
Commenter @PewFish swooned, “Aww, that little stretch!!! I love when mine does this!!” Bitsy’s mom responded, “It’s the most precious thing in the world!” It was our favorite part of the video, too!
Viewer @A Slightly Cross Hedgehog shared, “Woke up this morning and my lil girl wasn’t in bed, did not come when called, I got up and looked in her covered bed, and there she was sleeping the sleep!”
I have a Pit Bull, so she can’t really hide in anybody’s bed, but she loves nothing more than hopping in my daughter’s bed to snooze and watch the world out the window!
