Grumpy Persian Cat’s Side-Eye During Bath Time Deserves an Award

Persian cats already have something special about them with their fluffy coats and adorable faces. But they’re also really good at making dramatic expressions, where you’ll never have to guess what they’re thinking.

There’s one sweet kitty who takes that quirk to the next level, especially when it comes to bath time. There’s no question what he’s thinking about, and the side-eye he throws absolutely deserves an award. Take a look!

On November 11, 2025, TikTok user Biscotti Kitty (@biscotti_kitty) shared a video of a beautiful orange Persian cat named Biscotti who was having a bit of a moment and wanted to express his emotions.

Even though Biscotti is a cat and we generally don’t speak cat, and they don’t speak our language, he has zero trouble communicating what he’s feeling.

The sweet kitty is taking a bath, which can be an important care task for parents with Persian cats, but Biscotti isn’t a fan. And the way he looks into the camera, and lets out the perfectly understood “meow” is the cutest and funniest thing.

Cats are already adorable, but when you add in wet fur, an intentional scowl, and the grumpy energy that comes with it, it will brighten your day.

Reading through the comments, there is no question that little Biscotti is a full star.

One person wrote, “Biscotti says he’ll take some treats for having to bathe.”

Another shared, “You better have treats ready for me mom.”

Someone else added, “My autistic nonverbal son smiles every time he sees Biscotti lol keep the content coming.”

Other comments included, “The poor baby,” “Kisses,” and “Persian cats are the most cute creature on earth.”

Persian Cats Have Fun Temperaments

We can tell that Biscotti is not the happiest cat in the world, but that’s what makes him as charming as he is, and it’s pretty fitting for this breed, according to experts.

ASPCA Pet Insurance explains that Persian cats are known for being very affectionate, and they really love attention. Some, like Biscotti, may go out of their way to get as much attention as possible, and they absolutely know how to do it.
