Exercise is very important for our four-legged family members. One of their favorite activities is going for a walk—in fact, for most pups, all you have to do is pick up the leash and they immediately head for the door. Otis the Golden Retriever loves his daily walks so much that he wants to share them with his best friend… a stuffed Christmas caterpillar!

That’s right—Otis has his heart set on taking his caterpillar along for his daily stroll, and he wasn’t taking no for an answer. In a recent TikTok video posted by @otisgoldenboy_, Otis sits nonchalantly in the elevator with his incredibly large green and red Christmas caterpillar hanging out of each side of his mouth.

He’s clearly not bothered by the vision and is happy to be bringing his bestie along. His mom’s caption reads, “He wanted to bring his Christmas caterpillar along on our walk and I said no.” She continues, “So now we’re bringing his Christmas caterpillar on our walk!”

As any Golden Retriever parent knows, they are one of the most agreeable breeds on the planet. They, like everyone, have incredible patience and temperaments, and are loyal to a fault—but there is one thing they will never back down from: their love of all things stuffed!

It’s very likely that Otis doesn’t ask for much from his humans, but taking his stuffies along on his walk is clearly not up for debate. The answer will always be yes—especially when he looks at them with those spectacular Golden eyes!

Not surprisingly, more than 300 people left comments for Otis (and his mom), and many were in full support of the pup being allowed to bring his stuffie along on his walk. Here are a few highlights:
