Protective Boxer Jumps for Joy Meeting His New Human Baby and We Can’t Get Enough

Cali and Cooper are two Bindle Boxers who just want to play with their new tiny human, Vincent. With Cooper leading the charge, the two Boxers curiously meet their newborn human, showing the quick and instant protective bond pups can feel for a new member of their human family. This sweet interaction was caught on video by Vincent’s proud parents, who are showing social media followers how loving and sweet this Bindle Boxer pair is with their new little human brother.

In an uplifting video shared to social media, Vincent’s parents share (writing in Cali’s voice for a full cuteness overload):

“Sorry guys, mom’s been slacking on my updates 😆 but I’m so excited to share that the new human is officially here, and we are all obsessed with him! 💙 But honestly? I think Cooper’s the most excited. He’s been extra cuddly with baby Vincent ever since he realized there’s another boy in the family now 😂 Don’t worry though, the girls still run the house 😉”

The viral video is sending viewers racing to the comment section for a digital group chat about this sweet interaction.

“Oh my goodness their faces against the crib 😍😍😍😍 congratulations,” writes one commenter. Another adds, “How wonderful, what fantastic news! Congratulations! It’s just so adorable watching them all together.”

Why Boxers Are So Protective of Their Families

Sometimes referred to as “nanny dogs,” Boxers are naturally protective and fiercely loyal to their humans. This breed takes its role as protector seriously and will sound the alarm (bark) when a perceived threat is nearby. These highly intelligent and keenly aware dogs were bred to be guard dogs. That means these pups won’t let their guard down but will show endless affection to their human family.
