Boston Terrier Adds Her Stuffed Toys to the Christmas Tree Like Cute Little Ornaments

If you’ve ever decorated a Christmas tree with a dog nearby, you know you’re basically hosting a holiday event with supervision. Some pups just observe, some try to steal the ornaments, and then there are the overachievers, like this little Boston Terrier named Emi—who are fully convinced they’re part of the decorating committee. And honestly? We think she deserves a promotion.

In the adorable clip, Emi is dressed in a tiny red holiday dress, complete with a tree stitched onto the back—and she brings her mom her stuffed toys one by one, patiently waiting each time for Mom to place it on the Christmas tree before running off to fetch another. The seriousness on her face? The determination in her trot? The festive fashion? She’s not just helping… she’s taking her job extremely seriously.

I can’t get over how sweet this clip is. You can tell that the adorable Boston Terrier in the video, which was shared to the TikTok account @emilittledog, was so proud about helping, too. The way she waits for her mama to place each toy on the tree is just so precious. People in the comments agree, and one person said, “Bless her heart. She just wants to show off her babies.”

Someone else added, “My dog has been leaving her bones and toys under the tree with the gifts. He’s so cute.” Another sweet comment spoke for Emi, and it reads, “Here, Mom, put this on the tree, oh, here, put this one on there, too. It’s beautiful, Mom!” Awwwww!

If your own dog wants to get in on the holiday action, there are lots of fun, safe ways to let them “help,” too.

How Your Dog Can ‘Help’ During the Holidays

Pets can join the fun by supervising gift wrapping, posing for festive photos, helping choose ornaments, or enjoying pet-safe holiday treats. Keep fragile decor out of reach, offer soft toys as “decorating contributions,” and always supervise curious helpers near trees or lights. With a little planning, your pets can be part of the holiday magic without getting into trouble—or, umm… becoming the trouble.
