Beautiful Calico Maine Coon Cat’s Morning Pets Will Make Everyone’s Day

Maine Coons are some of the most demanding pets in the whole entire world. Nobody really knows why, either. They’re just crazy, and they like things the way they like them. If they don’t get their way, things are going to be tough for everyone involved.

What Maine Coons lack in self control and patience, they make up for with their incredible personalities. Maine Coons are genuinely some of the funniest, most affectionate cats you’ll ever meet, not to mention the fact that they’re insanely gorgeous.

One Calico Maine Coon cat has everything figured out. She knows how to be demanding as can be while still being cute! It’s the perfect way to make sure that she gets exactly what she wants. Apparently, what she wants are morning booty pats:

Kate With the Cats has several cats in her possession, but this one is Pur-Ari. She’s absolutely massive, with a fluffy tail to match! Her mom says she gets into this position every single day and doesn’t move until she’s had all of the butt pats she desires (which is a lot).

She’s a Maine Coon mix, which is also impressive. Not even a full Maine Coon and she’s managed to be just as big and majestic as a purebred! She was a rescue, so they’re not sure exactly what other breed(s) she’s crossed with.

Some of the comments question whether she actually enjoys this or not, so Kate made sure to come back and post another patting session. This is an every day thing to Pur-Ari, and she’ll never let it go!

Pur-Ari also has a brother, though his name isn’t shared anywhere on the page yet. I bet he likes pats, too!

Why Cats Love Butt Pats

This is kind of a universal cat thing: I’ve personally never met a cat who didn’t love a good butt pat! There’s actually a really good reason for it: cats have tons of nerve endings at the base of their tail. Patting them feels good and releases both dopamine and oxytocin!

Butt pats do not cause frustration or hormonal aggression in cats, either, though intact males may be more inclined to display this behavior. They’re just a fun little thing for your fur baby! Them allowing you to pat their bottoms means they trust you completely!
