Orange Cat Tries Cheetos and He’s Hooked After One Bite

It’s no secret that junk food tends to be addictive for many people. Apparently, the same is true for our household pets when allowed to try something that is not on their usual list of foods. Most dog parents know how much pups enjoy a slice of cheese, but there aren’t many people who would give much thought to an Orange Cat who loves Cheetos.

In a recent TikTok video shared by @thectorangeboys, we can see just how much one of their family’s cats enjoyed his quick taste of the powdered cheese-flavored snack. It’s safe to say he’d likely eat the whole bag if given the chance.

The caption says, “He will eat anything but particularly loves anything with crunch. He stole the Cheeto and got a little taste before I had to take it,” and this little Orange Tabby is going to town on the Cheeto as his dad holds it for him.

Most paw parents know that some foods aren’t good for their animals, but a small taste here and there is likely to happen, no matter what. So while it’s probably not part of his everyday diet, the Orange Kitty sure enjoyed the crunchy, cheesy goodness for as long as possible!

What Human Foods Are Safe for Cats?

According to PetMD, when it comes to feeding your kitty, many human foods are considered safe to feed them, including chicken, turkey, and a variety of fish. As for fruits and vegetables, they suggest peas, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, and even watermelon as options. However, it’s essential to watch your pet for any digestive issues that may arise should you decide to give them table food.

Several foods are firmly on the “absolutely not” list—such as grapes, onions, nuts, and dairy—but plenty of reliable resources are available to help you choose safe, healthy options for every pet in your household.

As for this particular Orange Cat, we can’t wait to see what he and his fluffy siblings are up to again very soon.
