The older these sweet, loyal companions are, the more everything they do becomes so much more important. And anyone who says dogs don’t get more adorable with age should be banished from your life forever, because you don’t need that kind of negativity in your life!
Gracie, the senior Chocolate Lab, may be 12 years old now, but when she dons her holiday PJs, the puppy in her comes alive again—and she can’t wait to show everyone, including the furnace repairman!

First of all, make sure your sound is up to hear the sweetest tippy-taps as Gracie skips down the stairs at rapid speed (well, rapid for a senior girl!). She can’t wait to show off her pajamas, and thankfully, the repairman was more than OK with showing her the love.
Sometimes we all need to stop and watch a senior Chocolate Lab happily trot down the stairs in pajamas, and everything suddenly feels better! Gracie doesn’t look a day over 2 and seems to move like a younger version of herself while in these PJs. Maybe they have some kind of superpower we can’t see that conjures a more energetic pup!
“I love that it’s sleeveless up top and full pants on bottom,” one person wrote. “Omg, it’s like one of those old-timey swimsuits,” another joked. “Which is the greener flag? The puppy showing off her jammies or the repairman knowing her name and complimenting her jammies?” another wondered—green flags all the way!

After all the excitement of the holidays, followed by seeing the furnace guy, Gracie had a bit of a crisis. I get it—it’s hard going back to normal life after all the fun. She’s pretty good at laying on the guilt, too!
Gracie Lives up to the Labrador Hype
Labradors remain one of the most popular dog breeds year after year, and it’s because of pups like sweet Gracie. These lively, outgoing, high-spirited pups are famously friendly to everyone they meet.
As athletic, eager dogs who are adaptable, they can just as easily play fetch or patiently wait outside for hours if it means seeing their best friend. If you throw a pair of cute pajamas on them, they’re going to want everyone to stop what they’re doing to offer praise—and anyone in that position better do it!
