If ever you’re having a bad day, you can count on dogs to instantly make it better. In all their curiosity and innocence, they’d do anything to turn our frown upside down somehow, someway. Sometimes they’re completely unhinged, performing for laughs, and other times, they’ll just sit by your side, offering kisses until they know we’re OK.
For Carter, the Golden Retriever, he doesn’t have to work very hard to make his infant sibling happy. In fact, he’s just hanging out, hoping for a nibble of food, and the baby loses her mind over it!

I’m always a sucker for a dog, but add a giggling baby to the mix, and I’m all in, no questions asked! Carter is one pup who heard the call and passed with flying colors. Volume up for this one!
“The start of a new bond” is right! The sweet video captures one of the most heartwarming, genuine, and utterly swoon-worthy scenes of the two buds creating something really special. There’s nothing like the bond between a girl and her dog, especially at this age when this little girl is so impressionable.
One fan praised the baby as “the sweetest giggle,” while another deemed the duo “future besties.” Whatever happens in this baby’s life, Carter will always be there to make her smile—I guarantee it!

Carter Is the Best Big Brother Ever
The job of the family’s loving, patient Golden Retriever goes so much deeper than garnering a few laughs at mealtime. It’s a 24/7/365 job they take seriously, almost like they were born knowing all the ways they’d be there for their humans.
Carter is a stellar example of how amazing not only Goldens are, but dogs in general, when it comes to looking after their human siblings. He’s been there from the start with the newest addition and already has quite the bond with his toddler sibling.
Basically, he’s the best big brother, and these girls are so lucky to have him!
Whether Carter’s keeping watch over the infant for any falling food or doing literally anything to make her laugh, he’s one very good boy.
