If there’s one thing English Bulldogs are pros at, it’s sleeping. Between deep sleep and power naps, these pups can snooze up to 20 hours a day! Just like humans, they have a whole range of sleeping positions, and Odie’s mom recently decided to rate all of his.
Watch as she shares clips of the many ways she’s caught Odie sleeping on their security camera. Some of the poses will look very familiar to dog parents, while a few might leave you wondering how that could possibly be comfortable!
Did you have a favorite Odie sleeping pose? Ours was the “I’m awake but also asleep” pose…our dog has never done that one! We love how Odie’s mom also commented on some of the poses, noting that they looked really comfy or seemed too uncomfortable to actually sleep in!

Funny Reactions to Odie’s Sleeping Positions
Everybody got a kick out of watching the funny ways that Odie was able to fall asleep. One commenter shared that the first position was their favorite, and Mom replied, “He’s meditating!”
@orla-rose shared a screenshot of Odie napping, sitting up with his head on the wall, and said, “This one got me crying!” Mom replied, “He does this quite often LOL!” Maybe it feels good to stretch while snoozing!
@Logan shared, “Bro’s getting an arm workout while sleeping with the yoga pose,” while @idk wondered, “Bro, how did he do the yoga one???” Mom replied, “He’s a yoga master!”
We laughed out loud when @Luc. pointed out, “Bro’s even too lazy to sleep,” and @Mel added, “He’s me.”
Another commenter asked, “Why does he sleep sitting?!???” and Odie’s mom’s response cracked us up, “He’s too lazy to lie down LOL!” @teddy_fanselow21 added, “The first one is like sleeping on the plane…”
@Sebas wasn’t wrong when they said, “Bro’s life is everything we aspire to in the future!” Aw, to be able to sleep all day, anyhow and anywhere you want. Talk about goals!
