If you have pets at home, you know they often have very selective hearing. They somehow miss you telling them they did something naughty, but can hear a treat bag opening from the other side of the house without any trouble at all.
Havencroft Sanctuary has a Great Pyrenees named Blueberry who works as a livestock guardian dog for their goats and other animals. One of Blueberry’s favorite things to do is bark at his herd, and his dad tries to talk him out of it with a little pep talk. As you’ll see, though, the message goes in one ear and straight out the other!
We have a feeling that Blueberry probably walked right off that porch and started barking again, and we don’t think that anybody, including Dad, would be surprised about it at all!

Funny Reactions to Blueberry Ignoring Her Dad
We got a kick out of reading through all the funny comments people left about Blueberry ignoring his dad. @Smurphette shared a screenshot of the dog’s annoyed face and said what she was thinking, “I can’t believe he’s telling me not to bark. This is crap.”
@JAC202022 also said what the dog was thinking, “Don’t bark, do bark, make up your mind…” @Kelly K Taylor added, “I’m gonna poop in his shoes tonight if he thinks I’ll do that.”
We cracked up when another commenter shared, “His face tells me he ain’t tryna hear none of your sh*t LOL!” Dad replied, “And if he did hear, he doesn’t care LOL!”
@Cheer Coach Gayle gets it. “We don’t live on a farm, but I’ve had to have the talk with my Great Pyrenees, requesting quiet barks instead of loud barks so we don’t upset or wake up the neighbors. He disagrees with me. The only appropriate bark is a loud bark in his mind. He barks with purpose lol!” Dad replied, “We request quiet barks too, but it seems futile…”
Sounds like Blueberry is the one who actually runs the farm!
