There are some words that all dogs love to hear, like treats, dog park, and dinner. But there are also other words that have them running for cover, as you’ll see in this video, and it’s cracking everybody up!
Mom pretended to be on a phone call, saying all of her foster dog, Hippo’s, favorite words. His excitement continues to build as he hears each word, but as soon as she says his least favorite word, he hightails it out of there and tries to hide to avoid the dreaded “walkies!”
We laughed when Hippo’s mom said, “Laziest, laziest!” at the end of the video. Most dogs love walks, but Hippo would rather lounge in the house like a true couch potato!

@ifu667 shared, “He put himself on time-out LOL!” We laughed when @Bonny added, “The way he jumps into his bed, just like me after I agreed and later canceled plans to go out with my colleagues!”
Pawrents everywhere nodded in agreement when @christieology shared, “Meanwhile, my dog heard walkies out of my headphones from down the hall in her crate and came running!”
@Eric’s Piano Bar laughed and shared, “He said, ‘ You had me until walkies’ LOL!” @pjessie was surprised, “Wait… walkies is the word he doesn’t like?!” That’s what we thought, too! Another commenter added, “First time I’ve ever seen a dog not want to go for a walk.”
We all agreed with @Unafeyed Bullyz, who said, “That’s my response for ‘workies!’ NO THANK YOU! LOL!”
