There’s no better feeling in the world than being greeted by your dog after a long day at work.

Marlow held onto her emotional support toy in her mouth while she enjoyed the scratches and pets from Dad.
Marlow’s Dad told her, “I missed you,” and she responded with the sweetest, most gentle little nosies. Her dad also wrote in the caption, “How could I ever go to work again 😭.”

Another user absolutely loves it when dogs “get so excited they grab a toy.”
Other users told Marlow’s dad he needs to “work from home now,” so he can spend all his time with her instead of leaving the “precious baby” behind. One user even declared that “If I get a Golden Retriever, I’ll never leave the house again except to take them outside 😭.”
All the signs that your pup is happy
While dogs may not be able to express themselves through words, they have plenty of other ways to express excitement and joy.
According to Dogster, when dogs are happiest, they may make low-pitched sounds, howl, or even growl to express their delight. Dogs also typically squint when they feel most content and relaxed, per the ASPCA.
One of the biggest reasons the Golden Retriever has been named one of the most popular dog breeds by the American Kennel Club is its “outgoing” and “trustworthy” nature. Golden Retrievers are also notoriously easy to train, playful, and remain young at heart even beyond their puppy years.
Their personality and behavior also make them the perfect therapy dogs, thanks to their empathetic and loving nature, coupled with a friendly disposition that soothes and calms people of all ages.
