Fostering puppies is a great way to help shelters. But more often than not, fostering turns into something more adorable and heartwarming: a forever home. And that is exactly what happened with Kora Luna, formerly known as Pepsi.
Now, Kora Luna has her own Instagram handle, @koraluna_fosterfail, and is on her way to steal your hearts. She was only supposed to be in a foster home for a while. However, as it often happens, that plan “misfired.”
After a short time in her foster home, she stole the heart of her owner, Jen. And on Valentine’s Day, her foster mom proposed in style and turned Kora Luna into a foster failure.
In the video, we see Jen holding a small piece in her hand and waiting for Kora Luna to engage with it. And that is how she said “Yes” to her forever home.

Foster families provide detailed notes about temperament, energy level, and compatibility with children or other pets. That information helps match dogs with suitable adopters.
Dogs in foster care often receive basic training and exposure to normal household routines. They arrive at adoption meetings more relaxed and better prepared. In this case, fostering did more than prepare a pit bull for a new home. It revealed that she was already in it. What began as temporary care ended with a proposal and a permanent place to belong.
