Lab Mix Demands Dinner From Mom With High Expectations

Some dogs are simply too royal for us mere mortals. Regardless of breed, age or size, it seems like some dogs are just made to be pampered at all times. With their squishy faces and unwavering companionship, they are also in the right. Unfortunately, this also means that as a pet parent, you need to be ready to cater to their every will and desire.

At least this was the case for one dog mom, who slipped into her dog’s mind by giving us the type of attention that she believes her Labrador retriever mix desires. While clearly meant to be a joke, I can’t help but wonder if her rescue, Sandra, is being 100 percent serious with her demands.

Viewers React to Sandra’s High-Maintenance Demands

Sandra, a rescue Lab mix, is not holding back with making her human work for her attention. In the video shared to social media, Sandra’s human takes us behind the scenes to what she believes her Lab is truly asking for when she’s asking for dinner. Besides being punctual for dinner at 4 p.m., Sandra demands that her meal and topper be mixed and prepared exactly to her liking.

After approving her human’s dinner, Sandra’s next demand was for her mom to assist her in getting a piece of kibble out of her water bowl, not before sticking her nose in trying to get it out herself. So silly of Sandra’s human to not act quickly enough, forcing Sandra to waste her energy and ask for help.

Although I don’t see any unusual demand for a regal pup, some might say she was a bit bossy. “She’s got mommy wrapped around her little paw,” commented one viewer, which is a fact that was clearly proven to be true in the video.

Another commenter added, “She will starve if she does not have that last bite.” For any pet parent, it’s a known fact that if dogs don’t have their way, it’s almost impossible to get them to cooperate. “Dogs don’t drink their water until I tell them it’s fresh. They have to see me putting ice and bottled water from the fridge,” commented another viewer. Proving our point that dogs are much more demanding than we give them credit for, it seems like Sandra’s human will need to work harder next time.
