Throwback Video of Teacup Poodle Trying To Tell Mom There’s a Spider Near Her Bed Is So Funny

Small dogs are known for their big energy, and this little Teacup Poodle just reminded everyone why. In a throwback clip that’s making the rounds again, a tiny white Poodle is desperately trying to tell her mom there’s a spider lurking near the bed, and she’s doing it without saying a word.

The video starts with the Poodle running toward her mom, stopping, looking back, then running again—the universal “follow me, human” move that every dog parent recognizes. She doesn’t bark or whine, but her urgency is written all over her face. You can practically hear her inner monologue: “Mom. Spider. Now.” Just check out her trying to tell her mom something scary is by her bed!

The hysterical throwback video went viral a year ago, and it’s still funny to this day. The clip was shared by @margiemack501, and people can’t get enough of this smart little pup. One person commented, “Get up and save that baby from the spider!” Another person added, “Oh my gosh, her urgency is so cute!” I would be feeling the urgency, too, if a spider were getting close to my bed!

The video is a perfect reminder that sometimes, our dogs are way more observant than we are. Whether it’s a spider, a stray snack crumb, or a mysterious sock on the floor, they never miss a thing.

So, Are There Any Insects That Are Dangerous to Dogs?

While most spiders and bugs are harmless, some can cause real problems for pets. Certain spiders, like black widows and brown recluses, have venom that can make dogs seriously ill. Bee or wasp stings can trigger allergic reactions, and fire ants or ticks can cause itching or infections. It’s a good idea to check your dog’s bedding, corners, and outdoor play spots for unwanted creepy-crawlies.

If your pup ever gets bitten or stung, watch for swelling, drooling, or sudden lethargy, and call your vet just to be safe. A quick check could prevent a big problem later.
