Enter Princess Honey Belle, who defies Orange Cat standards to rise above everything you think you know about “peak orange.” Wearing a custom-designed, handmade “Purrmaid” costume is the best way to show the world who the next Ariel should be (hint: it’s her), marking this the new “peak orange behavior!”

She already has the “princess” title in her name, so it’s only fitting that Honey Belle become a real-life cat princess in the vein of The Little Mermaid. It’s not only the beautiful, floor-length costume, but her elegance that shines bright. She definitely understood the assignment!
Halloween may be over, but this clip will live in my head rent-free forever. As you can see, this isn’t your average Orange Cat costume. As the caption explains:
“Ariel’s beautiful custom dress was designed and created by the talented @pawstylebyluna. Each scale was hand sewn, every pearl and bead painstakingly attached one at a time, to create the mermaid costume of our dreams.”
It all came together perfectly, and I think Honey Belle is well aware of how pretty she looks. It’s a piece deserving of being framed in a museum… or for running around chasing her cat siblings!
“Someone call Disney, there’s a new leading lady,” one person wrote. “I’m crying. The live action we deserve…” another added. “Ariel… is that you???” another joked.
