I was today-years-old when I found out cockatoos like to cuddle. And now, I kind of want one!
TikTok user @charliejuniorcockatoo just shared a reunion video of a sweet cockatoo named Charlie seeing his mom for the first time in three days, and his reaction is too sweet for words.
Charlie’s mom knocks on the window of the house Charlie was staying at, informing her bird son that she was finally, at long last, home. Once Charlie realizes the knock is from his mom, his reaction can only be described as pure, utter delight. He even starts bouncing up and down!
In the next clip, Charlie is sitting on his mom’s chest, cuddling up and giving her all the love. Distance makes the heart grow fonder, as the saying goes!
However, the cuddle time was unfortunately short-lived because Charlie’s dad soon entered the room and took over. As soon as Charlie sees his dad, he immediately walks across his dad’s legs like a bridge and jumps up on his dad’s chest for more cuddles. It’s clear who the spare human is here!
“And this is what being used looks like ladies and gents,” wrote Charlie’s mom in the caption of the sweet and funny TikTok.
